Our focus is to work collaboratively with industry to support improvements to safety and quality in Healthcare through the implementation of GS1 standards.

Winning case study from Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street – Webinar 15th December 

 

The Temple Street team were recently awarded for their innovative traceability solution. This webinar allows participants to hear from Sinéad Moran, Special Feeds Unit Manager and ask questions about their solution and what they plan next to ensure traceability within the hospital.

Important: Australian UDI system consultation deadline extended  

 

The second consultation into a potential future Unique Device Identification (UDI) system for Medical Devices has been extended until 2nd December 2020. All stakeholders from across healthcare are encouraged to provide feedback to ensure all perspectives are considered in the process.

The GS1 Innovation Board has recently published the 2nd edition of its trend report. With the continued digitisation of everything, this report also reflects the massive disruption that occurred in 2020 and how we will change to meet the needs of the next normal.

Identification and Barcodes for Healthcare – Training 1st December  

 

The session provides fundamental information on the practical application of the GS1 standards for all healthcare products: pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumables.
